Nazm Anwr is a calligrapher and architect with an active practice in calligraphy since 2000, working across diverse media and spatial contexts, including numerous public-facing installations and artworks.

His practice explores the origins and structural foundations of multiple scripts through the analysis of stroke systems and compositional patterns. By deconstructing and reinterpreting these forms, he develops compositions that merge diverse script traditions and evolve into hybrid conceptual symbols with distinct visual identities.

Alongside this experimental and research-driven approach, he also practices and presents foundational calligraphic works rooted in individual script traditions.
